  1. Hi Guys. Welcome to the PS4 Hacking/Modding scene and welcome to 2018. Today i will be showing you guys, how to run the PS4 4.05 exploit on any PS4 (brand new out of the box, or which was once activated and used) which is on firmware ,<= 4.05, and how to open the Advanced ★Debug Settings on the ps4 You will need a PC, a PS4 on firmware equal to 4.05 or lower, and a network connection. Now i have a video here showing how to achieve this below, but if you would rather read on how to do this, please scroll down further and i will write the instructions below. Please make sure to follow every step carefully. DISCLAIMER! Please be careful with debug settings as there are options in there which can brick your PS4 if you do not know what you are doing. Please steer clear of IDU mode as that will turn your PS4 into a kiosk. I highly recommend using an Ethernet cable to connect the PS4 to a Router and another Ethernet cable to connect the PC to the same router. I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BRICK OR DAMAGE ANY OF YOUR HARDWARE. So please use care and if you don't know what something is, don't touch it Happy Modding. Video: WRITTEN Tutorial: Ok guys so first off you will want to download these files below as you will need every single one of them to fully follow this tutorial. Downloads ---➣ ps4-exploit-host - https://github.com/Al-Azif/ps4-exploit-host/releases ---➣ Advanced ★DEBUG Settings Payload - https://mega.nz/#!O5hiHRzK!jh6nKnFe_w5jXUnOz_fMwYueZkW1u7tfxZMfX86Q-YE ---➣ Python 3 - https://www.python.org/downloads/ If you need to update to 4.05, please select a link from below and download the 4.05 firmware. ---➣ Firmware Files (GBATemp) - https://gbatemp.net/threads/ps4-firmw... ---➣ Firmware Files (sce.party) - https://sce.party/?page=firmwares Right you have everything now? Good. Make sure you extract all the zip files into their own respected folders, inside a folder with all your ps4 hack files Next you will have to install python. Please follow on screen prompts and install it. Ok so now we have set up the environment we need to run the server on the PC. IF YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOU PS4 AND HAVE DOWNLOADED THE UPDATE FILES, THIS WILL BE THE TIME TO UPDATE. - to update you might need to go into recovery mode if your ps4 has already downloaded a later version of the firmware. - Make a folder on the root of your usb called 'PS4' and inside that make a new folder called 'UPDATE' if you have done so then you can past your 'PS4UPDATE.pup' into the update folder. - from here you will need to figure out how you are going to update, weather it will be from the home menu or recovery. make sure you check what version is showing up on the home menu prior to updating if you will be going that way. Now that you are on firmware 4.05 we can commence Jailbreaking and setting up the exploit. Start up the server - Please take the 'fullDebugSettings405' file you downloaded (or modified) and place it into the payloads folder in the 'ps4-exploit-host' folder - Open a CMD window as admin - cd into the directory where your 'ps4-exploit-host' folder is located - Once you are there you will need to type 'Start.py' and it will start the server - (if you get any errors you might need to make sure ports 80 and 53 are not in use by other applications - Then press 1 and hit enter - (if you get any errors you might need to make sure ports 80 and 53 are not in use by other applications - You should see a message telling you that the server is running and you might get a check box that comes up asking to allow python to access the network, tick both boxes and press 'Allow' - if all is still well and you have no errors, then we are ready to move to the PS4. (NOTE: you sould see your DNS ip displayed on the console) First, you will need to go to network settings on the PS4. You will need to make your settings as such: - IP - 192.168.1.6 (or you can leave it as whatever you want if you will be changing the IP in the payload file) - Subnet mask - 255.255.255.0 - Default gateway - (you need to find out what your routers ip is and put it in) - DNS (This will be displayed on the CMD prompt console when we run the server) - leave DNS 2 as - 0.0.0.0 Make sure to save the settings and do a network test - As long as the PS4 obtains an IP and has internet access then this is fine. PSN will fail. Now that is all set up, we will now launch the exploit. Please head over to the user manuals at the top of settings, open it and observe the CMD console. It should start displaying more information, and ask if you would like to inject the FTP payload (fullDebugSettings405.bin). - Press 1 and hit enter. to inject the payload. Once an Error Pops up on the screen, simply back out with Button, and go back to settings. Scroll down to the bottom and there should be ★Debug Settings. Profit? Hope this helped you guys. Please make sure to ask any questions you may have below and i will do my best to help you. Sooooooo..... If you're still reading this you might have got yourself stuck in IDU mode.... I told you not to do it, Anyways. Thanks to Al Azif for the Method to get out of IDU mode, and thanks to @dev-ps3 for the tip.
  2. Hi guys. One of my subscribers recently asked me to show them how to change the SSID name for their ESP8266 chip while running someone else's firmware. At the time of writing this, it seems that c0d3m4st4's firmware is one of the best around, which also has the greatest user base. So i will be making this tutorial using his firmware. You can download it by clicking here. He has also advised me that in a future release, it will be much easier to change the AP name as it will be a built in function which i will show below. But for the time being, there are many other firmware's out there which also do not allow you to change the AP name, so i will be showing you how in today's tutorial. Please find a video below for visual instructions, and a written tutorial beneath for written instructions (for your preference) Video Written Tutorial What you will need: c0d3m4st4 firmware - https://playstationhax.xyz/forums/topic/4550-released-esp8266-xploit-host-v271-by-c0d3m4st4-ps4/ The Tool to flash your ESP chip - https://github.com/marcelstoer/nodemcu-pyflasher/releases HXD - https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/ FileZilla - https://filezilla-project.org/download.php (optional if you want to use FTP functions) Step 1: Download all of the above files, you can substitute the firmware for one you wish to use. (I AM USING VERSION 2.70) Step 2: Make sure you install HXD and extract the firmware file and flash tool to a location you will remember. Step 3: Flash the Firmware file to your ESP chip for the first time if you haven't already. Step 4: Unplug it from usb for about 10 sec once done flashing, then plug it back in and wait for the wifi network to come up. Take note of the AP name, in my case it's "ESP8266XploitHost" Step 5: Locate the firmware file you flashed and open it up with HXD. Step 6 (you can skip to step 17 if you are using the same firmware as me): Now you need to find the correct offsets to modify. This will be trial and error so can take some time depending on how fast you are Step 7: Press (ctrl + r) on your keyboard to bring up the replace tool. Step 8: In the "Search For" field, populate this with the AP name I told you to take note of earlier. In my case, it was "ESP8266XploitHost" Step 9: In the "Replace With" field, enter what you want your WiFi name to be, In my case, i did "ESP8266XploitTest" (note that when changing the name, do not make it anything longer than what was originally there or else you will break the firmware) Step 10: Select "prompt on replace" and select "All" for the search function and then press "replace all". When the first notification comes up it should read "Confirm" Before clicking ok, take note of the Offset, write this down somewhere. (The part highlighted yellow in the image below is the offset) Step 11: Once you have written down the offset, press "Yes" and let it replace that value with the name you want to use. Step 12: Another box will come up asking you to confirm, you can click the cross in the top right corner of the box to close it. Step 13: Flash save this file and flash it to your ESP chip. Step 14: Repeat step 4 and see if the WiFi name has changed (i would recommend using a phone to check as windows wifi cache's the old ssid/AP name so it might not show thenew one) Step 15: If this worked for you, then you can continue to the next step, otherwise, continue performing steps 6 - 14 with the same firmware file until the AP name changes. Step 16: If you are here now, the last change you made must have updated the ssid/AP Name, Make sure you remember the offset for the one that changed it, and now extract a fresh version of the firmware which you have not yet modified. Step 17: Open the fresh firmware file and press (ctrl + g) and enter the Offset value in there. (In my case, it was 00056970) then press "ok" and it will take you to that offset. Step 18: Click on the text in the right side (click just before the first letter of the wifi name) And begin typing the name you want it to be (DO NOT PRESS THE DELETE BUTTON) Step 19: If your name is shorter than the one which was there, you will need to click on the hex values on the left, and click on the one which resembles the next character on the right. See the image below Step 20: type 0's until you reach the zero's which are already there (this is so that no further text is entered into the SSID/AP name Step 21: Flash it and repeat step 14 to test that it all worked. (If this didn't, try again the process again from the beginning until it works for you) Step 22: Profit? This should now work as normal just with a different name. Optional extras to FTP Step 23: In order to FTP to this device you will need to download an FTP client such as filezilla, and install and open it for use. Step 24: Connect to your ESP chips WiFi with your PC. Step 25: In the top left corner, you will see a button which when hovered over states "Open the site manager" Click this button Step 26: Click on the "New Site" Button on bottom left of the box that popped up. Name it whatever you want. Step 27: To the right, put the host address and port (Consult your firmware's documentation to see if FTP is supported and the credentials) For me, the IP was 13.37.13.37 and the port was 21. Step 28, just a bit further beneath the "Host" textbox, you will see a dropdown menu for "encryption" click this and select "only use plain FTP" Step 29: For logon type, select "Normal" and enter the credentials for your chips firmware. for me it is User:ps4xploit Pass:ps4xploit (note, password may change when you change the password for the WiFi) Step 30: click on transfer settings and select "limit number of simultaneous connections" and make sure it is set to "1" Step 31: Click Connect and it should work. (if not, try unplugging for a minute and plugging back in and wait a min for your PC to connect and try again. Step 32: Profit? Thanks to @c0d3m4st4 for the great firmware and for letting me make this video/tutorial. If you guys want to say thanks to him for his time, please feel free to support him Should you have any Questions or queries, feel free to drop a comment below and I'll see if i can help you out.
  3. Hi guys. Throwing it back old school with a PS2 Tutorial. Today i will be showing you guys how to install FMCB with ANY ps2 game disc on most slim consoles (not including 9x models - these are untested) Please watch the video below for instructions, otherwise please read below, there will be a written tutorial for more advanced modders who do not need videos. Okay guys so what you will need today ---➣ Phillips screw driver ---➣ Flat head screw driver ---➣ Magnet (not needed but good to hold screws) ---➣ Hobby Knife (not needed but Recommended) ---➣ Memory card ---➣ USB (Formatted to FAT) ---➣ At least 2 burnable DVD discs ---➣ A PS2 game to do the swap with ---➣ Blue Tack or tape of a sort (blue tack recommended) Okay, Firstly you will need to disassemble your ps2. There are 6 screws on the slim console underneath it, the back 2 rubber feet come off, and then just pop off the remaining 4 covers. one of them may be under the warranty seal (cut that crap out... there ain't no more warranty) Once you remove these screws, you must separate the ps2 from the back first at the fatter section (where the power port is), then move to the front where the memory card slot is, and finally move down to the thin end. You will need to tilt the cover up from the fat end in order to separate/gain leverage on the thin end Once you have the lid off, congratulations!!! now we can jam the sensors Please see image below of sensor locations. one is on the power button board and the other is next to the back of the disc drive caddy to the left of it on the main board. You can use either Tape or Bluetack to keep the sensors down, it is recommended you use Bluetack as i found it stuck better and did not come off at all. Now you have set your PS2 up for the swap trick. Congratulations!!!! On to the computer Download my package full of all the files you will need. otherwise you can download these files from sksapps.com ---➣ MY PACKAGE ---➣ Apache1.1 ---➣ Apache3Preview ---➣ COGSWAP ---➣ uLaunchELF_v4.12_CD OR uLaunchELF_v4.12_DVD ---➣ Noobie_Package Download and extract these to a folder where you would like to save them Now Grab a disc you do not care if you damage as we will be using this for the swap Take note of the disc. It is recommended that you use a DVD as the swap disc. this can be seen on the front. it will say "DVD" or "Compact Disc" Insert the game you have chosen into your pc's DVD drive Now open Apache3Preview (DO NOT LET IT UPDATE - it will not function if it does) You will need to click on the drop down menu and select your DVD drive. Once the DVD is loaded up, you will need to click the option to "Create ISO" its the one that looks like a disc with an arrow Wait until ISO is successfully created. Once this is done you will need to open Apache1.1 Press the Browse button in Apache1.1 and select your newly created ISO file You should now be able to see the files inside the ISO Now open windows explorer and go to the DVD drive. Open the directory to view files on disc. It should look the same as Apache1.1 Locate the file that says system.cnf Copy and paste this file anywhere as we only need it for just a moment. If you have a text editor you can open this in your text editor to view contents, otherwise change file type to .txt and open with windows notepad on the first line you should see something like this BOOT2 = cdrom0:\SLES_536.36;1 Now, my one says "SLES_536.36", but your one will most likely be different. take note of the file name. You can now close the explorer window with the Disc open and go back to Apache1.1 Now you should see a file with the same name as the one from the text document. (This is the file we are going to modify) You must now extract your version of Cogswap and rename it to the name of the file on your disc. (for example, i would name my cogswap as "SLES_536.36") Now you must Right Click on the cogswap file we just renamed and press "PROPERTIES" to view file information. You should now be able to view the size of the file in Bytes (Perfect!!) Take note of the size, keep the window open Go back to Apache1.1 and Select the file we are modifying Click on menu option "ISO Tools" and then click "change TOC for selected file" You must modify the size value to the one of cogswap shown in properties. it is show as a byte value. DO NOT MODIFY LBA [make big an bold and red] Click update! Now select the file we are replacing again and go to the same menu like so -- ISO Tools --> Updaate selected file Now browse for the cogswap file we renamed to the one on the disc, select it and open it. This should now be updated in the ISO (Yayyy!!!) Close Apache1.1 as it auto saves to the ISO Now chose a method of your own to burn this ISO to a DVD, i just used the burn option in Apache3Preview. MAKE SURE YOU SELECT SLOWEST BURN SPEED (YOU CAN NOT USE REWRITABLE MEDIA - DVD RW) Press Burn and wait... Congratulations!!! You now have your swap disc We must now create the uLaunchELF_v4.12 disc Decide weather you are using a CD or a DVD to launch uLaunchELF_v4.12 Open the RAR file and either Burn the DVD .ISO to a DVD, or burn the CD .bin file to a CD with a burning tool of choice Now we have uLaunchELF_v4.12 Disc!!!! Last Step for the computer Insert a USB of choice (no need for anything larger than 500mb) You must format this USB to FAT. This can be achieved by right clicking on the USB in explorer and selecting format --> FAT --> Quick --> start (BE WARNED THIS WILL WIPE ALL FILES OFF USB) Now open Noobie_Package and copy "INSTALL" folder and "FREE_MCBOOT.ELF" to your usb That is all for the computer now guys. On to the tricky part Booting Cogswap Start off by inserting the genuine PS2 Disc into drive Please Read this a few times before attempting Congratulations, that was the hardest part!!! Now that you have cogswap open, if you selected burning Ulaunch to a DVD you can remove the Genuine game disc and insert the ulaunch disc If you did not, please open this spoiler Now insert your USB with noobie package on it Now you can press [X] to boot the Ulaunch disc Once loaded press [O] and navigate to "Mass" directory and hit [O] Now you should see "FREE_MCBOOT.ELF" Navigate to this and hit [O] to launch Tadaaaaa, you now have the FreeMC Boot installer open. Make sure you have a memory card inserted Select what you would like to use for your boot method. (Normal or Multi) I selected Multi so i can use the card on other systems Wait until it is finished. This may take a few minutes One it is complete, navigate to "Launch FMCB" and Voula, you should be booted into FMCB Attempt to reboot your console to double check it worked, make sure to remove all discs, you should be greeted with FMCB menu Congratulations you have now successfully installed FMCB without having to pay a cent for any games or swap discs like 007. You can now remove any bluetack, sensor jamers you used and reverse disassembly to reassemble. Let me know if you have any questions! Peace out guys!
  4. Similar to the last tutorial posted.... This tutorial will teach you how to fix one of the most common issues with the BD drive on the PS4 not injecting or ejecting discs... As usual, there is a video below for those who would like to watch and listen, and a write up underneath for those who cannot watch or simply do not want to. So this is for you people who don't know how to fix one of the most common issues when the ps4 will not inject/eject discs. so lets start Firstly you need to get to the inside of the system. so turn PS4 upside down, and remove the 3 security screws at the back of the system, holding the bottom cover plate on. (for fat ps4) Once removed, it should be easy to remove the cover by lifting back up first and then pull it off the front After this there are many screws on the boarder of the chassy, remove all security screws you see on the chassy, then there are 2 philips head screws at the back in the power supple, remove them too. Gently pull out power supply by lifting the right oriented side if you have the back of the ps4 facing you, then lift it gently up while left side may come loose a bit, then put the right side down and lift the left until it comes off prongs, be careful not to break the cable coming out of the power suply, you can easily just remove this during the replacement of the drive Next you want to make sure there are no more screws holding the bluray drive in place, there is 1 normal philips head screw at the top which holds it in place, (top being front) just remove that one and then remove the ribbon cable and power cable which are connecting to the drive from the mainboard. the drive should now come out with a bit of encouragement. Now turn the drive upside down so you can see the mecchanism which injhects and ejects the discs... what you have to do is remove the 3 screws holding it onto the bottom of the drive, and then there is a tab in place where there is no screw present where you need to gently lift the back plate off and pull it out of there... Inside the drive you will see 2 blue rollers next to there the disc goes in, there should be a white piece in the middle of them joining together. If there is not then you will have to look around the drive as it has most likely fallen out. Once found you must lodge it back in between the two rollers (be patient, this may take some time on first try) Once done just reverse the disassembly process and give it a try. WARNING! This may not fix all issues especially if your daughterboard is damaged. if you would like any help to see if it might help please post image of your daughterboard and what is going wrong with the ps4 in comments down bellow and i will make a judgement on it and tell you what i think you should do. i am also not responsible if you purchase a replacement drive and it does not work for whatever reason. i will help you diagnose the issue but if you do not take necessary precautions to make sure you need a new drive it is your fault. also be careful of sellers on ebay, some might not be very good. Good luck guys
  5. Hi Guys. Back again with another tutorial. YES, you will need to purchase a new Bluray drive for this tutorial If you guys have every had any issues with the Bluray drive and you don't know what to do anymore, you may have tried various different things, or you just don't trust yourself with any other methods. This is about the simplest method you can find to fix most issues that can arrise around the Bluray drive. There is a video below which shows you how to change the BD drive, otherwise there's a bit of a written tut under the video. Let me know if you need anymore help. Good luck Ok so if you can't listen or watch the video for whatever reason, here is the write-up. Firstly you need to get to the inside of the system. so turn PS4 upside down, and remove the 3 security screws at the back of the system, holding the bottom cover plate on. (for fat ps4) once removed, it should be easy to remove the cover by lifting back up first and then pull it off the front After this there are many screws on the boarder of the chassy, remove all security screws you see on the chassy, then there are 2 philips head screws at the back in the power supple, remove them too. gently pull out power supply by lifting the right oriented side if you have the back of the ps4 facing you, then lift it gently up while left side may come loose a bit, then put the right side down and lift the left until it comes off prongs, be careful not to break the cabel coming out of the power suply, you can easily just remove this during the replacement of the drive next you want to make sure there are no more screws holding the bluray drive in place, there is 1 normal philips head screw at the top which holds it in place, (top being front) just remove that one and then remove the ribbon cable and power cable which are connecting to the drive from the mainboard. the drive should now come out with a bit of encouragement. simply drop your new drive in and remove the daughter board from your old ps4 and replace the one on the new drive if it came with one, otherwise hook it up to the new drive, there are a few screws holding it in place. once the old daughter board it hooked up to the old drive, hook it back up to the mainboard and reverse the teardown process ensuring you keep the new drive and mainboard int the system. turn on the ps4 and you should be golden.

Step 21: It should now be saved forever. Step 22: Profit? Hope you guys enjoy and get use out of this. Peace
  7. Hey guys. just wanted to make a quick tutorial on how to replace the battery in those good ol gba games as they're becoming ancient and batterys and running dry killing time based events. As usual here's a short video tut showing what im doing followed by a quick written up step by step guid beneath. Enjoy Written part: Step 1: get tools; - solder - soldering iron - screw driver - 1616 tabbed battery. Step 2: Open cartridge with special screw driver. Step 3: desolder old battery by gently pressing iron against solder on board and make little circles to spread and distribute heat evenly so you don't burn the board. Step 4: Chose your own way to solder new battery to board on cartridge. make sure pos (+) is facing down and the pos (+) tab is pointing to the solder point inwards to the board. Step 4B: if you don't know how to solder the battery do what i did. i made little solder balls and placed them on top of the tabs and tinned them to make it easier when i drooped them into place on the board. Step 5: Put cartridge back together and screw back in Step 6: Put cartridge into gba or ds and test it out Step 7: Profit? Disclaimer: I am not responsible if you damage your game. i have given you instructions to perform the process without damaging it. human error is always possible especially if you have low experience soldering.
  8. Hi guys thought it had been a while since i posted a tut so here it is Essentially this video will tell you how to get NTR working on the latest firmware for 3DS as the original does not seem to be getting anymore love or support anymore. So this is basically a fork of the NTR CFW but this fork is not only more refined, it also allows you to select which version of NTR you want to boot into and boots in legit a tenth of the time the original booted when it was working. tool it called NTR Selector. can be found in links down below. 9. Ok guys so i know a lot of people want to know how to do this and i'm writing because this game has proven to be extremely fun while also being very dangerous for many as there have been robbery's, muggings and just carelessness. So hopefully this tutorial will help many people who can not go outside and play for whatever reason. Firstly i would like to start by saying that there is a detailed video below showing how to install this mod for a written tutorial please look below the video So lets get started.... This method is for people like me who are unable to use mock locations to spoof due to whatever reason it doesn't work, although this will work on all versions of android that the game supports You will need root access on your device, no, this method will not work without root. Step 1: You will need to download the Xposed framework from here --> http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer Step 2: Make sure you download the one which supports your version of android, read the page carefully! Step 3: After you have downloaded it you will need to install the apk and then open it up, go to the framework tab and install the framework itself Step 4: You will be prompt to reboot, just do so.... Step 5: Once done rebooting you will need to open xposed framework app back up and go to 'download' tab Step 6: Search "DarkPokemonGO" find it and click it, then swipe right to open versions tab and download/install latest Step 7: Back out and go to "modules" tab from main menu of app Step 8: Find "DarkPokemonGO" and enable it by ticking it on the right <Make sure to reboot after ticking to enable> Step 9: Look for "DarkPokemonGO" in your app draw and open it, you can now start the game from your current location or you can input coordinates for a location you want to spoof to. Step 10: Activate GPS and then click 'ENABLE' switch in the app Step 11: Make sure when inputting coordinates, you click 'done' on the keyboard for each box to ensure it saves correctly Step 12: Once complete, launch the game from the image at the bottom of the app Step 13: Enjoy *DISCLAIMER* I am not responsible should you follow this tutorial incorrectly and damage your device. if you have any issues with xposed not working, it may be best to ask the developer for support as i am not very knowledgeable in how it works on androids, otherwise if there is something wrong with "DarkPokemonGO" then let me know and we will try find out what's going on
