  1. Hi guys! I'm going to keep this tutorial short and sweet. please see the quick video i have below, for a visual tutorial, and the write up below that if you are unable to watch videos where you are at the time of reading this. Written TUT: Ok so trust me when i say this is going to be a walk in the park. All you need is the following: Nintendo Switch with CFW An SD Card in your switch (you will have this if you are on CFW....) An FTP client - i use Filezilla - https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client The FTPD NRO file - https://github.com/mtheall/ftpd If you have Hekate and the latest version Kosmos Atlas installed, you can use sysFTPD which i show how to do in the video, and i will explain below, its so easy Step 1: Download the required files above and install filezilla if you have not yet. Step 2: Turn off Nintendo Switch and remove SD Card to insert into PC once switch has powered down. Step 3: Copy the FTPD.nro file you downloaded from the site, onto your sd card in the "Switch: Directory. Step 4: Safely eject SD card and place it back into the switch. Step 5: Boot into your CFW. Step 6: Open your homebrew menu, most do this by clicking on the album icon and you may or may not need to hold R while doing this. Step 7: Open the FTPD file and you will see your switch's IP listed above, if you do not see an IP address, you may need to connect your switch to your WIFI. (if you are connecting to wifi, i recommend using the 90DNS DNS's to block connections to official Nintendo servers which can cause you dramas ) Step 7b: If you need more info regarding 90DNS follow this link - https://gitlab.com/a/90dns The following is an extract regarding how to set up 90DNS, just skip if you don't want to use it or already have it set up Step 8: Open filezilla on your PC/Mac or whatever you are using, and enter the switch IP as the host address, leave user and pass blank, port is 5000, click enter and you should see the contents of your SD card listed! Step 9: Profit? Alternate method below if you would rather use inbuilt function with kosmos/atlas Step 1: Power on Nintendo switch running Kosmos/Atlas CFW Step 2: Open homebrew launcher and then open Kosmos Toolbox Step 3: Press on "Background services" and then Enable "sys-FTPD" or "sys-ftpd-light" Step 4: if you know your switch's IP, you can connect by opening Filezilla and entering the IP into hostname, and port as 5000 Step 4b: if you need to find your switch's IP, you can do this in the internet settings in your switch, it will need to be connected to the WIFI, follow my instructions above for setting up 90DNS if you have not connected yours to the WIFI. Step 5: Profit? I hope you all enjoyed this quick write up and i hope this worked for everyone. Let me know if you need any help, and i will be more than happy to assist y'all further! Peace out and see you all next time!
  2. Hi guys. One of my subscribers recently asked me to show them how to change the SSID name for their ESP8266 chip while running someone else's firmware. At the time of writing this, it seems that c0d3m4st4's firmware is one of the best around, which also has the greatest user base. So i will be making this tutorial using his firmware. You can download it by clicking here. He has also advised me that in a future release, it will be much easier to change the AP name as it will be a built in function which i will show below. But for the time being, there are many other firmware's out there which also do not allow you to change the AP name, so i will be showing you how in today's tutorial. Please find a video below for visual instructions, and a written tutorial beneath for written instructions (for your preference) Video Written Tutorial What you will need: c0d3m4st4 firmware - https://playstationhax.xyz/forums/topic/4550-released-esp8266-xploit-host-v271-by-c0d3m4st4-ps4/ The Tool to flash your ESP chip - https://github.com/marcelstoer/nodemcu-pyflasher/releases HXD - https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/ FileZilla - https://filezilla-project.org/download.php (optional if you want to use FTP functions) Step 1: Download all of the above files, you can substitute the firmware for one you wish to use. (I AM USING VERSION 2.70) Step 2: Make sure you install HXD and extract the firmware file and flash tool to a location you will remember. Step 3: Flash the Firmware file to your ESP chip for the first time if you haven't already. Step 4: Unplug it from usb for about 10 sec once done flashing, then plug it back in and wait for the wifi network to come up. Take note of the AP name, in my case it's "ESP8266XploitHost" Step 5: Locate the firmware file you flashed and open it up with HXD. Step 6 (you can skip to step 17 if you are using the same firmware as me): Now you need to find the correct offsets to modify. This will be trial and error so can take some time depending on how fast you are Step 7: Press (ctrl + r) on your keyboard to bring up the replace tool. Step 8: In the "Search For" field, populate this with the AP name I told you to take note of earlier. In my case, it was "ESP8266XploitHost" Step 9: In the "Replace With" field, enter what you want your WiFi name to be, In my case, i did "ESP8266XploitTest" (note that when changing the name, do not make it anything longer than what was originally there or else you will break the firmware) Step 10: Select "prompt on replace" and select "All" for the search function and then press "replace all". When the first notification comes up it should read "Confirm" Before clicking ok, take note of the Offset, write this down somewhere. (The part highlighted yellow in the image below is the offset) Step 11: Once you have written down the offset, press "Yes" and let it replace that value with the name you want to use. Step 12: Another box will come up asking you to confirm, you can click the cross in the top right corner of the box to close it. Step 13: Flash save this file and flash it to your ESP chip. Step 14: Repeat step 4 and see if the WiFi name has changed (i would recommend using a phone to check as windows wifi cache's the old ssid/AP name so it might not show thenew one) Step 15: If this worked for you, then you can continue to the next step, otherwise, continue performing steps 6 - 14 with the same firmware file until the AP name changes. Step 16: If you are here now, the last change you made must have updated the ssid/AP Name, Make sure you remember the offset for the one that changed it, and now extract a fresh version of the firmware which you have not yet modified. Step 17: Open the fresh firmware file and press (ctrl + g) and enter the Offset value in there. (In my case, it was 00056970) then press "ok" and it will take you to that offset. Step 18: Click on the text in the right side (click just before the first letter of the wifi name) And begin typing the name you want it to be (DO NOT PRESS THE DELETE BUTTON) Step 19: If your name is shorter than the one which was there, you will need to click on the hex values on the left, and click on the one which resembles the next character on the right. See the image below Step 20: type 0's until you reach the zero's which are already there (this is so that no further text is entered into the SSID/AP name Step 21: Flash it and repeat step 14 to test that it all worked. (If this didn't, try again the process again from the beginning until it works for you) Step 22: Profit? This should now work as normal just with a different name. Optional extras to FTP Step 23: In order to FTP to this device you will need to download an FTP client such as filezilla, and install and open it for use. Step 24: Connect to your ESP chips WiFi with your PC. Step 25: In the top left corner, you will see a button which when hovered over states "Open the site manager" Click this button Step 26: Click on the "New Site" Button on bottom left of the box that popped up. Name it whatever you want. Step 27: To the right, put the host address and port (Consult your firmware's documentation to see if FTP is supported and the credentials) For me, the IP was and the port was 21. Step 28, just a bit further beneath the "Host" textbox, you will see a dropdown menu for "encryption" click this and select "only use plain FTP" Step 29: For logon type, select "Normal" and enter the credentials for your chips firmware. for me it is User:ps4xploit Pass:ps4xploit (note, password may change when you change the password for the WiFi) Step 30: click on transfer settings and select "limit number of simultaneous connections" and make sure it is set to "1" Step 31: Click Connect and it should work. (if not, try unplugging for a minute and plugging back in and wait a min for your PC to connect and try again. Step 32: Profit? Thanks to @c0d3m4st4 for the great firmware and for letting me make this video/tutorial. If you guys want to say thanks to him for his time, please feel free to support him Should you have any Questions or queries, feel free to drop a comment below and I'll see if i can help you out.
  3. Hi guys. This is a tutorial on running homebrew launcher on the switch, and running the ftp homebrew. Please do not forget that the exploit is not 100% guaranteed to work every time, so you will need to try, and try, and if it still doesn't work, try again some more. As usual, there will be a video and a written tutorial. Please watch the video so you can visually see how to install and run this exploit, and how we will get the homebrew to work. Video: Written Tut: What you will need: - Switch on firmware 3.0.0 - SD card - Computer - Wifi Access Step 1 - Make sure your switch is on firmware 3.0.0 Step 2 - Download latest nx-hbmenu. Step 3 - Extract the hbmenu.nro to the root of your sdcard Step 4 - Download any Homebrew App {FTPD} - and paste this into a folder on your SD card called 'Switch' Which will look like this /Switch/"Your Homebrew App Here" Step 5 - Put the SD card back into the switch. Step 6 - Connect to your network, and then modify DNS settings so your primary DNS is Step 7 - Go back to settings and go into storage, and make sure that your SD card is showing up, i suggest going all the way until it asks you to delete your images, then back out back to settings and into internet section Step 8 - Run the connection test (click connect to network if already saved) Step 9 - Click 'Next' Step 10 - Click 'Install' (use the arrow buttons, do not use joystick or touch screen) Step 11 - BE PATIENT!!!! I learned this the hard way... Step 12 - Check the Error Code. It should say 2000-1337, if you got a different error code, it means it could not read the file from your SD card. Reboot and try again. Step 13 - If you were successful with step 12, then we can move along and connect to the internet again, follow steps 7 - 9, this time you will be clicking 'Run' Step 14 - BE EVEN MORE PATIENT!!!! I learned this the harder way... Step 15 - If 14 was successful, you will get a popup telling you to exit the browser, Press 'ok' and wait about 5 sec, then press the home button. It will not go home straight away, do not panic, just wait. Step 16 - Hoping all went well, now on your home screen, navigate to pictures, and open it. Hopefully you should see the 'Homebrew Launcher' If you did this all correct, if not, please go back to step 7 and try again. Step 17 - If this worked, and you followed correctly, you should see FTPD homebrew. Launch it and have fun. Keep in mind that you will only be FTP'ing to your SD card on the switch Step 18 - Profit? If you did not understand my written tut, please watch the video for further clarification Happy modding, Peace out

  6. Hi Guys. Welcome to the PS4 Hacking/Modding scene and welcome to 2018. Today i will be showing you guys, how to run the PS4 4.05 exploit on any PS4 (brand new out of the box, or which was once activated and used) which is on firmware ,<= 4.05, and how to gain full FTP access to the ps4 You will need a PC, a PS4 on firmware equal to 4.05 or lower, and a network connection. Now i have a video here showing how to achieve this below, but if you would rather read on how to do this, please scroll down further and i will write the instructions below. Please make sure to follow every step carefully. VIDEO : WRITTEN Tutorial: Ok guys so first off you will want to download these files below as you will need every single one of them to fully follow this tutorial. Downloads ---➣ ps4-exploit-host - https://github.com/Al-Azif/ps4-exploit-host/releases ---➣ FTP Server Payload - https://www.dropbox.com/s/bhbex6ga7e2vsjn/hello.bin?dl=0 ---➣ Python 3 - https://www.python.org/downloads/ ---➣ FileZilla - https://filezilla-project.org/ ---➣ HXD - https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/ (OPTIONAL) If you need to update to 4.05, please select a link from below and download the 4.05 firmware. ---➣ Firmware Files (GBATemp) - https://gbatemp.net/threads/ps4-firmw... ---➣ Firmware Files (sce.party) - https://sce.party/?page=firmwares Right you have everything now? Good. Make sure you extract all the zip files into their own respected folders, inside a folder with all your ps4 hack files Next you will have to install python. Please follow on screen prompts and install it. After you have installed python please install FileZilla and follow on screen prompts to install it. Ok so now we have set up the environment we need to run the server on the PC. IF YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOU PS4 AND HAVE DOWNLOADED THE UPDATE FILES, THIS WILL BE THE TIME TO UPDATE. - to update you might need to go into recovery mode if your ps4 has already downloaded a later version of the firmware. - Make a folder on the root of your usb called 'PS4' and inside that make a new folder called 'UPDATE' if you have done so then you can past your 'PS4UPDATE.pup' into the update folder. - from here you will need to figure out how you are going to update, weather it will be from the home menu or recovery. make sure you check what version is showing up on the home menu prior to updating if you will be going that way. Now that you are on firmware 4.05 we can commence Jailbreaking and setting up the exploit. If you would like to modify the IP of the payload Please follow these steps, otherwise continue to the next portion - To modify the IP you will need to open 'hello.bin' with a Hex editor of choice, i use HXD. - Once open, please search with 'ctrl + f' and type in '192' then hit enter - You should now see the line with the IP address. Please modify the values to whatever IP your PS4 is on, or whatever you would like to set your PS4 to - Please save the Updated file. Start up the server - Please take the 'hello.bin' file you downloaded (or modified) and place it into the payloads folder in the 'ps4-exploit-host' folder - Open a CMD window as admin - cd into the directory where your 'ps4-exploit-host' folder is located - Once you are there you will need to type 'Start.py' and it will start the server - (if you get any errors you might need to make sure ports 80 and 53 are not in use by other applications - Then press 1 and hit enter - (if you get any errors you might need to make sure ports 80 and 53 are not in use by other applications - You should see a message telling you that the server is running and you might get a check box that comes up asking to allow python to access the network, tick both boxes and press 'Allow' - if all is still well and you have no errors, then we are ready to move to the PS4. (NOTE: you sould see your DNS ip displayed on the console) First, you will need to go to network settings on the PS4. You will need to make your settings as such: - IP - (or you can leave it as whatever you want if you will be changing the IP in the payload file) - Subnet mask - - Default gateway - (you need to find out what your routers ip is and put it in) - DNS (This will be displayed on the CMD prompt console when we run the server) - leave DNS 2 as - Make sure to save the settings and do a network test - As long as the PS4 obtains an IP and has internet access then this is fine. PSN will fail. Now that is all set up, we will now launch the exploit. Please head over to the user manuals at the top of settings, open it and observe the CMD console. It should start displaying more information, and ask if you would like to inject the FTP payload (hello.bin). - Press 1 and hit enter. to inject the payload.F Now if your PS4 does not show any errors on the webpage, leave it open as we will now be accessing the PS4 via FTP. - Open Filezilla on PC - Enter the IP of the PS4 (should be if you did not modify the hello.bin file) - The Username is anonymous. - Leave the Password box empty. - The port is 1337 - Press enter and you now have full access. Hope this helped you guys. Please make sure to ask any questions you may have below and i will do my best to help you
