  1. Hello and welcome! Today I will be showing you all how to downgrade your Nintendo Switch Firmware on your exploitable Switch! Please see the video below for a visual instructional TUT, or see steps i have written out below the video! So to complete this tutorial you will need the following: - Switch Vulnerable to the tegra exploit - A way to enter RCM mode and launch hekate boot loader - You will need ChoiDujourNX which you can get here - https://switchtools.sshnuke.net/ - The desired firmware to downgrade to (you will need to locate this one on your own... Google is your best friend ) Step 1: Make sure you meet the above requirements. Step 2: Copy the ChoiDujourNX.nro into the following directory on your Switch SD card "/switch/ChoiDujourNX.nro" Step 3: Copy the firmware folder to the root of your usb. It should look something like this "/firmware 3.0.0" Step 4: Safely eject SD card, and insert into Switch. Step 5: Boot into hekate and then into your CFW. Step 6: Open the homebrew Menu, and launch ChoiDujourNX. Step 7: Open the folder with the firmware you copied to the SD card, in my case, it would be "firmware 3.0.0" Step 8: Press the select button down the bottom right. Step 9: wait for it to load, and select which version you want to use, i would suggest using (exfat) as it supports both fat32 and exfat, you can do as you wish! Step 10: After the checks are complete, you can proceed by pressing "Select firmware" again. Step 11: Wait for the firmware to be extracted and prepared, to the left you will see a menu, unless you are using a specific exploit where you do NOT want the switch to have auto RCM, or if your switch has been patched, i suggest keeping this selected at all times! This will prevent you from accidentally burning fuses and will just make your life easier when booting! Step 12: Confirm the target firmware is correct, and i would not select system initialize unless again, you need to for some special reason. Step 13: When it is all extracted, press "Start installation" and wait a few min for the process to complete. Step 14: When step 13 is complete, you can press "Reboot" and then followed by "Reboot now" to be rebooted back to the payload "hekate" Step 15: Boot into your cfw (i use SYSNAND, maybe you use EMUNAND? Just boot as you normally would) Step 16: Check firmware version in settings. Step 17: Profit? If you have any further questions or issues, please feel free to drop me a line and i'll be more than happy to guide you a bit further! Peace and catch you next time!
  2. Hey guys ^^ So I am just starting up and a while ago at my facebook page and twitter I was talking about making a CFW of my own, which included Rogero patches and Gameboot, to which I have done! And are currently at very early stages waiting to be updated / customised etc (3.55 is still to be tested as I haven't had any time to really downgrade etc as I am on Rebug 4.82 dex / always way to much project work for college lol) and 4.82 0.01 is currently tested! :) Working I went from 4.81.2 rebug to Xenon 4.82 and back without an issue, Install pkgs worked fine and I think there was no issues (Possibly with mounting as I forgot to take Multiman out of dex/cobra mode when I installed lol, if anyone can help with cobra /ps3/ps2 support that would be much appreciated) Any idea's or suggestions are appreciated as this is technically me learning but I am quite adaptive! ^^ =========================================================== 4.82 Beta Tested on CHECH-2103a - Rebug 4.81.2 > Xenon 4.82 installs fine from XMB - Comgenies worked fine. Multiman didnt run think possibly due to having it converted to MMcm cobra edition previously forgot to tweak back!any suggestions on if it would work or how to get mounting enabled (including ps2) would be amazing! ^^ Installed back to 4.81.2 from hdd perfectly from XMB Will be working on customisation / further updates soon after I upload it elsewhere and get it around a bit and more feedback on it! (Its a bit bland atm as its early beta I didnt want to rush to ahead just get a simple cfw working) =========================================================== =========================================================== If anyone wants to test them for me you're more than welcome to pm the Fb page to let me know how it works! Or my twitter at @SirSonnif Soon I will update the FW and update the changelogs and info and such but right now its in beta stage as I just got into this side of coding and I'm already pretty choked up with ps1light / prodg etc and now the ps4 sdks hahaha! 3. Hi guys thought it had been a while since i posted a tut so here it is Essentially this video will tell you how to get NTR working on the latest firmware for 3DS as the original does not seem to be getting anymore love or support anymore. So this is basically a fork of the NTR CFW but this fork is not only more refined, it also allows you to select which version of NTR you want to boot into and boots in legit a tenth of the time the original booted when it was working. tool it called NTR Selector. can be found in links down below. Please see video for guide on how to install, or if you can't watch youtube where you are there will be a quick written tutorial at the bottom Thanks for watching guys. hope you enjoy the video and the final product of this mod/CFW LINK: - GBA Temp Thread - GitHub Written tut: Step 1: make sure 3DS is on CFW Step 2: make sure you have FBI Installed or a CIA installer of choice. this tut will use FBI Step 3a: open this site to scan QR code for download, OR Step 3b: alternatively open this link for a download of the latest cia file so you can copy to sd card Step 4: if you are going to use the QR code to scan and download direct to ds with FBI please skip to step <8> Step 5: if you are manually downloading then make sure you copy the cia to your sd card Step 6: put sd card in 3ds and open cia installer. Step 7: Navigate to where you placed the cia file and install with cia installer Step 8: (skip if you manually installed) Scan the QR code to download the file and install it directly to 3ds Step 9: go to home menu and open up the newly installed software Step 10: wait for it to run through its updates and download and setup its environment. Step 11: choose your cfw you would like to use Step 12: Profit?
