  1. I am not going to take the time to detail the whole process for you on how to FSM update/downgrade a machine. I can tell you that the pages I will link you to will help you do the trick. Just read the wiki. http://www.ps3devwiki.com/ps3/Factory_Service_Mode I was nice and checked the links to the files you will need: http://bit.ly/182wt0B It is not hard. If you really hit a road block and good old all knowing google can't find shit in it's crystal ball then come on back and post your question. One tip before I leave you to give this a shot. You can enter FSM 2 different ways I have done both successfully and to save you time if you don't have a dongle, use the .pkg files. Hope this helps.
  2. If anything downgrade to OFW 3.55 then upgrade again. It has been a long while since I have been around but it could be syscon that is messed up and to set it back to a more normal or original state you will need to downgrade to 3.55 OFW there are tutorials on the interwebs on how to do such a task, none sadly from this site. Here is a pretty good set of instructions. http://bit.ly/1N9EukY Maybe first you could try and install any one of the CFW's you have in recovery mode to see if that helps but the tutorial I liked you to should only take about 10-15 minutes to run through. Best of luck to you and hope this helped.
  3. Good day to everyone! Happy to see that Gregory finally started his own website based on the PS3. I hope that this can be a place for the sharing of knowledge over the creation of drama. I hope everyone is well and I look forward to learning something from everyone.
