ConsoleHax replied to GregoryRasputin's topic in PS Vita Henkaku
I have unlimited respect for team Molecule, but I really don't get that they're asking people to brick their PS Vita for a permanent hack. I think HENkaku is perfectly fine now with the offline and online installers, and I see no benefits of a permanent hack that in order to be released requires a lot of 3.60 Vita's to die first. -

RetroArch - Collection of emulators - How to emulate PS1 Games?
ConsoleHax posted a question in PS Vita Help
Hi, Has anyone emulated PS1 games on PS Vita using the RetroArch VPK that combines all emulators in 1? I would like to know where, and in which format to place PS1 games on my memory card. Thanks in advance. -
In celebration of 10 years M33 (Custom Firmware for PSP) developer, TheFl0w has released Adrenaline-2 for PS Vita. Adrenaline is software that adapts the official PSP emulator using the TaiHEN Framework. Because of TaiHEN the Vita can execute custom and unsigned code when booting. You can install Adrenaline-2 manually by following the instructions on this GitHub. or you can use @Freakler Easy Installer which is updated to support Adrenaline-2.

Maybe it's because of the history (Vita 3.60, PS3 3.55, PSP) that more people finally got to know that waiting to update is worth it.. It could also be because scene sites get more visitors, since their social media brings in more mainstream people), and we all know that 70% of future hack news on trusted scene sites encourage people to stay on a firmware as low as possible. Or it could just be that because many of my friends finally stopped installing updates, that I have a opposite feeling. Your opinion makes more sense, mine is just the feeling I get when I see people talk about

Not without a webkit exploit ;).

I get what you're saying. Yet I see a big difference between 1.76 and 4.06. The time sony released the 1.76 update, not many enthousiast had bought a PS4, and I think when they did buy a PS4 1, it was already over 1.76 or 2. They bought it with the single purpose of gaming on it, instead of letting it sit in a box. When some rumours where released about fw 3.50 or was it 3.55 scene sites started to recommend people not to update further. I think a hell of a lot more people (including me) then made the decision to not install updates anymore. Also with the release of PS4 Slim, and it's fairly c

Thanks, It's the only thing I have developed so far. In order to publish my app in the PlayStore I had to become a Google Developer. Which at that point costed me about 20$ (one time fee). I can now develop and publish as many apps as I want, but before I dive in more "android"-coding, I would like to get the hang of OneLUA, and publish something for Vita. I never learned programming, so everything I write is self-learned, and sometimes it takes me pretty long to understand things, but it's worth it.

Today developer CTurt has tweeted a picture, stating he's updating his 1.76 console to firmware 4.06. I don't have anymore information on what this means, but it must mean something good?

Although ours is Dutch, we placed this article: http://www.consolehax.com/ps4-release-fifa-14-gedecrypteerd-en-geencrypteerd-voor-alle-ofw/ a short translation of it: In September 2016, warez group E-peen released a fully working FIFA14 game for PS4. More information about this can be found in this article on wololo.net. Yesterday, another group who whishes to remain anonymous, announced they have built upon the work of team E-peen, and added a mod menu. What does this mean for OFW users? All existing hacks for PlayStation 4, where compatible with OFW 1.76

Vote For Your Favourite #GekiHEN Homebrew - #HENkaku - Fixed
ConsoleHax replied to GregoryRasputin's topic in PS Vita Henkaku
Indeed, this poll can't be valid because one member can vote for 2 options in the poll (1 in ports, 1 in emulators) merging the two manually will lead to broken results. @GregoryRasputin I think its better to pull this poll offline. Maybe it's better that the donating websites, each publish the same poll, at the same time? -
Developer CTurt known for his PS4 Kernel Exploit, has updated PS4-SDK. It also seems that CTurt and Qwertyoruiop are still working together on PS4 things.

Don't feel sorry @GregoryRasputin, I understand life takes a lot of time of you these days. I also feel it's somehow my fault, because I didn't update the entries after the competition ended.
