PlayStation Vue Says Screw You PlayStation TV

Well my original title was going to be ‘PlayStation Vue Says Fuck You PlayStation TV’, but i try and keep those dreadful profanities of the title of a front page news article, because not everyone likes seeing naughty words.

The title also should be ‘Sony Says Screw You PlayStation TV’, but PS Vue is the reason that Sony has basically given a big fat fuck you to the PS TV and the following is why.

PlayStation Vue Says Screw You PlayStation TV

PlayStation Vue is Sony’s new TV channel streaming service, it is an over priced streaming service which has recently been released on the PS3 and PS4, at a later date will also be released on iDevices, but no PlayStation TV, which considering the PlayStation TV’s name is a fucking dumb decision.

So no Netflix, no YouTube, no DLNA and no PlayStation Vue, so what is the point of owning a PlayStation TV >.<

Anyhow now that i have had my rant, you can read below what PlayStation Vue is all about:

SAN MATEO, Calif. – March 18, 2015

PlayStation Vue is simplifying the subscription TV experience with fair and competitive pricing that doesn’t require a long-term commitment. Packages now available include the following:

The Access package costs $49.99 per month and includes broadcast networks like CBS, FOX, and NBC as well as more than 45 of the most popular channels such as Discovery Channel , FX, Fox News Channel, USA Network, Food Network, TNT, Nickelodeon and AMC (available next month).

The Core package costs $59.99 per month and includes all the channels in the Access package, plus local regional sports networks such as YES Network in New York, Comcast SportsNet Chicago, and Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia, as well as additional sports and movie networks.

The Elite package costs $69.99 per month and includes all the channels in the Access and Core packages as well as more than 25 lifestyle, music and family channels.

Where to Get PlayStation Vue

Starting today, PlayStation Vue is available in New York, Chicago and Philadelphia on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 systems from PlayStation Store. Additional markets will launch later this year. PlayStation Vue will also become available on iPad® and other popular devices in the near future.

It does not specifically say in that statement that PSTV will never have PS Vue, but it is not on it now, when it should have been, PSTV would have been the most important place to actually start PS Vue off on, but then this is Sony we are talking about and it seems they do not have the ability to think things through properly.

On top of excluding PS Vue from PSTV, the price of the full package is $69.99, which in my opinion is way over priced, esspecially when services tend to raise in price after a while.

Own a PS4 and are rich or crazy, this what you have to look forward too:

  • PlayStation Plus Forced Subscription
  • PS Now Subscription
  • PS Vue Subscription
  • PS Music Subscription
  • PS Video Subscription

That is on top of your other subscriptions such as Netflix, so being a PS4 owners looks like quite an expensive hobby.
