Cool, I ordered the Japanese version when it first came out. It's pretty sweet even though it freezes.

Not mine If you know how to look after them you can prolong the life span of ps3 with no issues.

I Brought mine day one 60gb fat Never had any issue with it and it's on ofw and i play it daily dust free and always looked after.

So Happy 8th Birthday to my ps3 Cheers Sony.

Eh, my two launch consoles drives died on me, they both started throwing too many volts to the lasers and fried them in seconds so I trashed them. Bad move though because the frigging things were hacked about 5 months later lol.

Whats the beef with the superslim?

It looks cheap, flimsy and delicate, i think most peoples problem with it is the look.

I got my self a 3001A in 2011, traded it for an A01 and eventually got multiple 2501A/B 2001A/B, and thanks to the creators of the Chinese E3 my two slims are safely on CFW ^•^
