  9. With HENkaku being full of awesome there is so much more news to cover and i am finding it harder to cover all the news, i have even been neglecting WiiUHaX as i simply cannot find the extra time or the energy to do everything as well as deal with the headaches that come with maintaining a server. So i am writing this thread to see if anyone want's to write news for the forum, before you think you do, be aware that i am quite anal and strict with my rules which will be listed below: Being A News Poster On PlayStationHaX You need to be a member of the forum, that one is kinda obvious. You should own the console you are writing about, this is not necessary, but having the console might actually help you write an article better. You have to understand that you will be writing news in a volunteer basis and it is not a job. You have to be able to spell and write, reading also helps, if you have a problem with spelling, install a spell checker. You need to be able to take criticism, people will at some stage shit on something you wrote, you need to be able to deal with that. Writing News On PlayStationHaX You must write at least one article per week. You must write your own article, even if it is only one or two lines, copy & pasting an article as your own is strictly prohibited. You must source and source properly, for instance, you see an article on PSX-Place first, but their source is Wololo, you must add Wololo as the source and if you wish to do so, add PSX-Place as the Via below where you added the source, you do not have to add the Via, but it is the nice thing to do if that's were you seen the information first. Your news can be about anything console related or single board computer related. You article should have an image, the image must be uploaded to an image hosting website, no hot linking. If you still want to be a news writer after reading that, create a post stating so and what skills you have at writing, being a news writer somewhere else before is not compulsory though. Update Just a small update for those wanting to write, post whatever you want in the correct sections of the forum and it gets auto posted on the front page, you will also be able to add stuff to the download section, when you add a download, it gets auto posted as a thread, then gets auto transferred to the front page, the only thing you will have to do with the thread that the download article creates is edit source and developer, for some stupid reason it ads those words twice, just highlighting the word and pressing space will fix it What ever you write or post on the front page will be posted in your name, if you have a twitter name it can also be added Update 2 Forgot to mention that for the downloads section you cant actually upload files to the server, just link to the download file and link to the image, this is incase your account gets hijacked and it starts uploading malicious files
  10. It says you can access the eShop without a subscription.
  11. Being in the GMT timezone i missed the Nintendo Switch Presentation, i did wake up 44 minutes after it started, but it was cold outside and the wind was blowing insanely, so i said 'fuck it' and stayed in bed, so i am going to grab all the important bits from various different places and post videos from Nintendo's official YouTube channel Release Date - 3RD March 2017. Recommend Retail Price - Japan - 29,980 / USA - £299.99 / Europe - / UK - £279.99. Online Services - Multiplayer Online which will be paid service - Online Store. Region Locking ? - Nintendo Switch's software will be Region Free. Screen - 6.2" 720p Multi-Touch Screen. Battery Life - 2 and a half hours to 6 and a half hours - Can also use portable batteries. Play With Friends ? - 8 Switch devices can be connected for Local Multiplayer. Storage - It has a tiny 32GB of storage built in, which will probably end up being 28GB after system software and other junk is take into consideration, also has the ability to take microSD cards. Games - Comes on cartridge much like the PS Vita and Nintendo's other handhelds - Games can also be downloaded digitally, there is no doubt you will need a couple of huge microSD cards. The Switch does not have many games on its release day, but Nintendo claim to have 80 games in production, here are some of them: Pre Order The 3RD of March is not that long away, but rumours suggest that Nintendo will have limited stock to be available on release day, if you look at certain things such as ammibo's and NES Mini Classic, then it wouldn't be much of a surprise if indeed stock was limited, you can grab US and UK links below, if any staff member from European or Asian regions want to add their own links they can: UK Amazon Game USA Amazon So far my biggest and only complaint about the Switch, is the crazy price of its peripherals.
  12. For those of you in the USA the Nintendo Switch Presentation is tonight, but due to time differences, that means those of you in the UK will have to get up at 4AM tomorrow morning, the times are as follows: You can watch it by visiting this link https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Nintendo-Switch/Nintendo-Switch-1148779.html

Nice article, if i see more like this, perhaps you will become a news editor Remember though, no copy/pasting and no hotlinking images, if you see an image that you need to post, use Imgur and upload to there. EDIT I just notice that you copy/pasted it from here https://www.psxhax.com/threads/ps4-4-07-unlimited-psn-gamesharing-hardware-method-by-xmax-katsu.1486/ How can i give you any serious privileges when you can't even follow simple instructions... 16. We have all been down this road numerous times, every time a games console is due for its debut a ton of fake articles come out, i am not saying that is what French Twitter user DroidXAce has done and they do look genuine, on top of that they are for a third party device maker so who would go to all that trouble making a fake for that ?, also all the images have 'concept images' watermarked onto them. Anyhow i will add a forum poll asking you your opinion, here are some of the images: You can see more images on DroidXAce's Twitter Account here
  17. If you are an active member or new member, you will notice that you cannot upload a profile pic to the forum, i have done this as a way to protect against anything malicious, of course it is not fool proof, but it is a way of better protecting the forum, so you might wonder how you can add your own profile pic, there are two options and the first is by using a URL, the second and better way is by using Gravatar. Gravatar can be used on many sites across the internet and your profile can be linked to one of your emails or all of them, so whenever you post on certain sites, especially WordPress ones your profile pic will always be present, so here is how to do it: 1.) Go to your profile, this is easy enough done, click on your name anywhere on the forum and you shall be taken there. 2.) Locate your avatar, it should be the default one if you are a new member and it looks like this: 3.) Clicking the icon should take you to this: 4.) Choose Gravatar and then go to this website, clicking that link will take you directly to the registration page. 5.) The registration page should look like this once you have the information filled in, keep note of your email address and change the username if you want to: 6.) Once logged into Gravatar, your page will probably be empty and you will need to upload the avatar you want to use, you can also add numerous other emails if you want, i have two on my account and it appears i also have another account, but that has nothing to do with this guide, your Gravatar page should look like this: 7.) Now go back to your profile page on the forum, you should have the profile part still open and if you chose Gravatar, you should add the email you registered to to the Gravatar site with: That is the best way to add your own profile pic to the forum, with that one email, you can have the same profile pic on numerous websites, without having to upload a pic each time.
  18. Because the battery is so shitty, i always have it plugged in to the charger, went to try the easy hack method which needs the Web Browser and noticed there was no power in the Gamepad and i couldn't turn it on, will try what you said though.
