  5. Oh no! I'm stucked in an update-loop. Of course I tried a flash-update now and the installation stops at 74% with error-code 8002F1F9. When I google it, plenty of tutorials come up about how to connect the wifi-board properly (e.g. here). What a crap!

  12. After searching around on the web, I found this threat most relevant to my problem. The people over there, suffer the same problem with the same lack of online-resources. There are a few youtube-videos recommending to check the wifi-board-cable but basically that's all. According to the threat, a non-well connected or even broken wifi-board can trigger the 80010201-error which causes the malfunction of all three connections: bluetooth, WIFI and LAN. They also mention a new error-source: YLODs can happen when the PS3 is turned on, even in the middle of a game. This can cause data-loss and broken software. In some cases the 80010201-error was entirely software-based and vanished, once a flash-update was done. The downside is: In some cases the flash-update wasn't successfull because of the broken system. The system got trapped in an update-loop, when trying to update the flash. So this is a risky thing to try.
